David A. Shapiro

David Shapiro received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of
California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. He received
his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas-Austin. While in
law school, he interned for the United States Department of Justice, Environmental
Enforcement Division. He is licensed to practice law in all courts of
the State of California as well as in the United States District Courts,
Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit
Court of Appeals.
Mr. Shapiro is a member of the Trusts and Estates sections of the California State Bar, the Trusts and Estate Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Litigation Subcommittee of the Trusts and Estate Section of the California Bar, and the Santa Monica Bar Association. As a Los Angeles Probate Attorney, attorney Shapiro is a certified specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the California State Bar. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Estate Planning Council and on several committees of the American Bar Association's Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section. He was awarded the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services. In addition to his legal training and experience, Mr. Shapiro is also a licensed real estate broker. Mr. Shapiro is also a member of Provisors and the Rotary Club of Playa Venice Sunrise.
